Become a Library Buddy!

Good Wolf are working with Croydon Library to provide a great volunteering opportunity to teenagers in Croydon!

Croydon Libraries are launching their Library Buddy scheme this half term. Drop into Croydon Central Library from 4:30 on Monday 21st October to find out more!

Library Buddies will be given 6 sessions of training with Good Wolf People, we will be making sure you have learned all about the Library Buddy role as well as using drama to explore how we can help bring stories to life with children. This is a great chance for anyone who is interested in supporting children, reading and drama.

This could also be a really good way to achieve volunteering hours you need to complete an award like Duke of Edinburgh, or college course placement hours. Or maybe you just want a fun way to help people in your community!

Don’t worry if you can’t attend the info event, just get in touch with Croydon Central Library to sign up or email Anita.Cottle@croydon.gov.uk

Training starts on Monday 28th October 4:30-6:30 and happens every Monday for 6 weeks.
