Art and Joy is a project in partnership with the Museum of Croydon.

From September 2024 to May 2025 we ran art workshops for people experiencing dementias and their carers, using the art collection of the Museum as inspiration.

The group chose pieces from the collection for an exhibition in Croydon Clocktower which opened in Dementia Awareness Week and stays in place until November 2025.

As well as choosing the artwork from the collection, the group wrote the wording for the displays and created their own art in response, which also forms part of the exhibition.

Over the summer we’ll be running a series of one-off art workshops at the exhibition.
